02 / Background

I studied Industrial Design at Özyeğin University on a full scholarship, with a semester at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano. It taught me to look at a product in use — who it is for, where it is used, and what happens around it.

In my final year I moved into service design. My graduation project, developed around Vodafone, followed a customer through a whole journey rather than a single touchpoint — and that way of working carried me into digital products.

  2. Mar 2022 — Nov 2022UI/UX Designer

    Academia United

Managed the company's rebrand from design to execution, including its responsive website, and designed and launched a multi-platform CRM for the international language-travel market.

  3. Jun 2021 — Mar 2022UI/UX Designer

    Revotas

Improved the end-to-end experience of the Revotas CRM through usability reviews and a design system, alongside B2B and B2C email campaigns.

  4. Jan 2021 — Jul 2021Part-time UI/UX Designer

    Askipo

Designed the mobile interface of an app that matches people with dietitians, and mapped customer journeys with the product team.

  5. Jan 2021 — Jul 2021Part-time UI Designer

Designed interfaces across multiple platforms for the agency and its clients, focused on reducing friction.

04 / Approach

Complex products need a clear structure before they need a visual style.

01

Understand the system

Industrial design taught me to study how something is used before shaping it. In software, that means learning the rules, roles and edge cases behind a screen first.

02

Structure the journey

Service design taught me to think in sequences, not pages. I order information and steps so people always know where they are and what comes next.

03

Translate requirements

Airline products arrive with dense functional requirements. I keep every one intact and make the interface carry them quietly, so the complexity stays with the system.

04

Craft with consistency

I still care about the details an object is judged by — spacing, type, states — and hold them to one standard, so a product feels made, not assembled.

05 / Next

The complicated part is where I like to start.
